You might have already read this yesterday, but this is a reminder, that I'm taking a couple of commissions. Also I don't know what the best way to advertise on DA is anymore lol, so day late journal here we go.
I'm opening for comms for a bit. I'm taking about 2 slots. DM me on twitter, or send a note on DA with what you want. I'll be taking the commission inquiries that appeal to me most. I'll contact people around friday 16:00 CEST (GMT+2) so get your inquiry in before then.
Feel free to comment or note me if you have any questions!
Hello everyone. I mentioned Community Commissions a couple of weeks ago, and this is the start of it. At the end of each month I'll make a post like this with the community comms up for voting the next month, how far along they are, and such things.
Rules in short:
Let me know if anything's unclear. It's the first month so things are likely to change a bit to make things clearer, or more compact.
If you like the look of any of these community comms and you're not eligible to vote, please consider upgrading your pledge.
Community Comms up for vote:

Subject: Yennefer of Vengerberg (The Witcher)

Subject: Ymir and Krista (Attack on Titan)
Description: a slender Ymir and a 400+ pound Krista are alone together in a small place. Krista embarassedly lifts her shirt and Ymir observes the small girl's pale slab of a belly. She observes that it's gotten bigger. The sun is setting behind them.

So, I'm thinking about doing something I'm calling 'community commissions' for my $5 and up patrons.
A community commission is a commission 'funded' by my $5 and up patrons. It is not funded with actual money. Instead, each month the patrons get a point to spend on a community commission. When these community commissions reach the point value needed, they will get drawn, like a regular commission.
For now, I do. To be as clear as possible, I will introduce each option with a thumbnail and short description to hopefully make it clear to everyone what they are spending their points on. There will probably be somewhere between 5 to 10 community commissions up for funding at any time.
I am thinking about introducing a $10 tier which gets two points to spend and who can collectively decide on one community commission for funding.
If a commission doesn't increase in point value for two consecutive months, I'm moving it to the danger zone. If a commission in the danger zone doesn't get any points in that third month, the commission is removed from the pool and any previously spent points on it will be refunded.
Does this sound exciting? Do you want to engage with this system? Does it sound too complicated?
